Power of Music

My sister Jenn was here the other day & wanted to show Hayden & I a new song she downloaded. Jenn needed to hook up her I-Touch to Hayden's I-Dog so that we could hear the song. Once Jenn got it all hooked up & hit play, the song was coming out all weird. So I said to Hayden, "Oh looks like we need to put new batteries in your I-Dog." She replied very seriously, "No mom, it runs on the power of music, I read it in the instructions."

There you have it...no more need for batteries anymore....just need the power of music around this house:) & here I always thought it was the "power of love" that made this world go round!

Mother's Day 2010

This years Mother's Day was great. We spent the day with my family at my mom & dad's having a BBQ. It was so great having the family all together...seems like it doesn't happen very often anymore. My kids were so excited to give me all of their fun gifts. I got some pretty flowers, nice notes & pictures from the kids & Josh gave me a gift card to a spa....can't wait to use that up:) Here's a paper Tate brought home from school for me that he filled out about me...I must say that I think he was pretty accurate on all his answers;)
