It's not fair being sick during the summer:(
is all I heard from Hayden that whole week. Two weeks ago my three kids ALL got strep throat at the SAME time:( I can look at this as either a good or bad thing. Good because everyone having it at the same time means that everyone gets better at the same time rather than dragging it out for weeks. Bad because it's not very fun taking care of three sick kids & having to make sure that everyone gets all the antibiotics & Tylenol that they're supposed to have for that day (10 days of antibiotics about drove me crazy:) Luckily Josh & I didn't end up getting it so my OCD with germs was a definite plus for us! Happy to say that everyone is doing well & now off antibiotics & life is back to "normal".

Pee Cologne
This morning Josh was changing Rex's diaper & Josh told him that he smelled like pee. (I know, not very nice, but whatever) Tate walks around the corner and says to Josh, "Well, maybe he has an pee cologne." What more can I say....I'll just leave it at that:)

Pulling Weeds
So today we finally had a morning with no rain & the sun was finally out. I've been dying to get all the weeds pulled out of the flower beds, etc.... My kids have had plenty of TV time & I put them to work......only they didn't know they were working! How smart am I:) We made a game out of pulling the weeds & who knew that it could be fun! I had gloves so therefore they all had to have gloves too. Tate & Rex used there snow gloves...so funny! Thanks kids for making a not so fun chore.....fun:)

Tate's a Graduate!
We're so proud of our little Tate who is now an official pre-school graduate! I don't know who's more ready for him to go to kindergarten....him or me:) Just kidding (well sort of!) He's such a funny kid and he did an awesome job at the program. He actually said all of his speaking parts & after he said his lines he would give me the "thumbs up" sign & then would continue to itch his nose. The kid couldn't stop touching his nose! (I think it's a trait he picked up from Josh:) I tried to practice his lines with him & all I would ever get was whining or just silliness. So I didn't know what to expect when we got to the program. I'm proud to say that he actually knew what to say & when to say it. Tate....we're so proud of you & can't believe that you're big enough to be moving on to elementary school......SCARY!!!!
