Every time Josh goes out to mow the lawn Rex is right behind him with his little lawn mower. He literally is either right behind Josh or right beside him. He thinks that he is being such a huge helper & that he is really cutting the grass. In a few years when it's really Rex's chore to mow the lawn I hope that he will still think it's fun:)

Josh's Big Pimples:)
For some reason Tate & Rex have been obsessed with Josh's biceps the last couple of weeks. They make him flex his muscles all the time & they think that has the biggest muscles in the whole world. The other day Rex asked Josh, "Hey daddy will you show me your big pimples":)

Rex's visit to the ER
On Sunday night we were at my parent's house & we ended up taking Rex to the ER in Mt. Pleasant to get stitches. Tate & Rex were chasing each other around my parents island in their kitchen (mind you that Josh had told them 3 times to stop & that someone was going to get hurt....famous last words huh!) Rex ended up running into the corner of the counter & he hit right below his eyebrow & it split right open. I am so glad Josh was there to go to the hospital with me! Rex is such a tough kid & he was so brave! He kept telling us that it was taking forever & that he wanted to just go back to grandma's house. I swear kid's are so resilient & Rex is one of the toughest kids I've ever been around! Moral of the story...listen to your parents! They do know what they're talking about:)
Tate's Kindergarten Graduation
I can't believe that Tate is now officially a 1st grader! Is he big enough to go to school all day?! I don't think so:) I know that he will tell you differently though. He's so excited to be a big kid but he's really sad that he has to leave his teacher Mrs. Rico. He has absolutely loved her this year & she has been exactly what he needed in a teacher. During the program the principal talked about how Tate's class will be graduating from high school in 2022...the only thing going through my head was, "Please let's not think about that just yet!" I just need to get through kindergarten graduation for now:) Congratulations Tate....we sure are proud of you!
Memorial Day Activities 2010
We had a great Memorial Day this year & it was so fun spending time with everyone. On Sunday we had a BBQ with Josh's family at his Grandma Bernita's house. On Monday morning we had brunch & played "Minute to Win It" with my mom's side of the family...almost all the Kellett's were there. So great getting to spend time with all of our loved ones. We went to the Moroni & Ft. Green cemeteries & walked around & saw my grandparents graves & some of my ancestors. It was so great taking time out of my busy life to stop & think about those that have moved on & to appreciate the influence that they've had on my life.
Rex's favorite Primary songs
Rex loves to sing. We sing the same Primary songs every night after I tuck him into bed. I love hearing children sing, especially when it's a Primary song. It always makes me a little teary:)
