was helping me water our plants & flowers the other day and this is how our conversation went:
me: Tate, thanks for helping me water our trees and plants. They were sure thirsty.
Tate: Yup...I like to help water our trees. You know what, I wish we had pop tart trees & steak trees & apple trees. That would be awesome!
me: (looking at him thinking "What, where did that come from")
Tate: Ohhhhh then I could eat pop tarts whenever I wanted!
For those of you that know Tate well, know that he absolutely LOVES the brown sugar pop tarts & has loved them since he was tiny. If I have them in the house he would eat a whole box in a day....no lie! A pop tart tree would definitely save us some money, so if any of you know where I can purchase one, please let me know:) So funny how their little minds work!

Lamb Day 09
We had a great time at Lamb Day this year. Lamb Day is a tradition with our Cook side of the family that we just love! My kids absolutely LOVE this day & they look forward to it all year long. It's such a fun day of visiting with family & friends, catching candy at the parade with cousins, carnival at the park, sheeper creeper rides & lamb sandwiches. Lamb Day is in Ft. Green & it's where my dad grew up. My Grandma Cook (who is 95 years old) still lives there on main street. I love that my kids know & love my Grandma & that they have a relationship with her. I love that we're in Utah and that we get to go & do all these fun things with our family!

4th Of JuLy FuN
We had a great 4th of July this year. We started out the day celebrating it in Gunnison with a parade & carnival. The kids had a great time chasing after all the candy that was thrown. They also got Goldfish from the fishing pond at the carnival. Knowing that if we brought the fish home they would most likely not make it for very long, luckily we were able to talk them into releasing them into Leisa's neighbors fish pond so that the fish could live a long happy life;) Now they can visit them when ever they visit Gunnison. That evening Hayden & I were able to go to the Stadium of Fire to see the Jonas Brothers. We partied with my mom, Jenn, Christine, Macall, Tatum & Payton. We had a great time & I loved seeing all the little girls (& not so little girls) up singing & dancing to the Jo Bros! I love this time of year in Utah. So many fun celebrations & beautiful weather to go along with it.
